The Breath of Trayl is not merely a novel. It is a rupture in narrative time—a myth born of thunderclap and starlight, of gods who collide and breathe new reality into being. This is the beginning of a saga that stretches across aeons, universes, quantum threads, and the riddles of divinity itself.
At the dawn of existence in a realm known as Trayl, three primordial powers emerge: Zon, the architect of order born from chaos; Thryn, the deep well of shadow, magic, and mystery; and Chaun, the weaver, the balancer, the one who arrives last but is somehow the oldest. Where Zon and Thryn clash—creating fire, void, storm, and structure—it is Chaun who gives form to their struggle, dividing cosmos into quadrant and purpose.
From their collisions are birthed gods—sometimes deliberate, sometimes accidental. These gods fall into the Nexus, a sanctified space shielded by time itself, a realm where only Chaun's chosen may tread. The Gorken, metallic sentients formed from dust and electromagnetic thought, serve Chaun and gather the newly born gods from the First Sea—an ocean formed when the chaotic Globles are shattered and dissolved by Chaun's decree.
The gods are not passive. They think, lust, conspire. The palace of Chaun becomes a theater of intrigue and rebellion, an arena where divine passion births new species. Lucial, the Grand Tester, weds both Ayala, the goddess of vision and fate, and Yalq, the fertile mind goddess of chaotic inspiration. From these unions come two mighty races: the Dondril, thinkers, lovers, mortals with divine spark; and the Valta, shape-shifting horrors bred for war, capable of growing from microbe to monster in the blink of an eye.
Meanwhile, others rise: the Quants, beings of the quantum realm who live in past, present, and future simultaneously; the Veirul, parasites who feed on divine fear; and the Thynri, who consume entropy itself and whisper the names of dying stars. Political schisms unfold among the gods, as divine orgies give way to treachery, espionage, and revolution. The Valta war with the Dondril. Gods take sides. And whispers begin to spread from beyond the Nexus—whispers from entities older than the gods, from the Exhaled, from beings who remember a time before Trayl was born.
A secret third faction emerges—the Weftborn, threads of fate who begin to question whether Chaun, the balancer, is truly just. And beyond all reckoning, T'Sorrin, an Archaeonist born from a collapsed hypernova, is flung into the Nexus from outside known time and space, his presence a herald of a coming cataclysm.
As the gods wrestle for dominion over love, fear, mortality, and time, a greater threat looms—The Father of the Ternary Prime, a force of absolute negation, the unmaking of all creation. When even light and time collapse, Chaun is the last god left in motion. Alone. Watching. Floating in what remains—a realm known only as Zap Time.
What follows is an epic confrontation of philosophy, divinity, cosmic horror, and the will to survive.
