Rifat stared at his wife's face for a while. His mind was in chaos, unable to process everything. His wife's words just wouldn't sink in. What had he done wrong? He had proudly boasted about her beauty to his friends, but now? Now his wife, who had enchanted him with her stunning beauty the night before, stood before him as a completely different, almost unrecognizable woman. "You're saying this is your real face?" Rifat said sharply. There was a kind of anger in his eyes that had never been there before. His wife, a little disappointed but calm, replied, "Yes, Rifat. This is my real face. The makeup was just for one day. I'm showing you my true self." Rifat said nothing, but one question kept swirling in his mind—what would he tell his friends now? They were going to come see his wife. Just the night before, he had told them, "I'm so lucky to have a wife as beautiful as hers!" But now, his wife looked a little different. Rifat felt like he would be ashamed in front of them. What would his friends think now? "You've changed so much, what should I say?" Rifat said angrily. "What will my friends and relatives think? They'll come to see my wife—what will they think about the kind of marriage I have?" His wife silently looked at him. She knew how Rifat was feeling, but she wouldn't back down from her decision. "If you think little of me or want to present me as someone else to others, it doesn't matter. But I am happy in my true self. And I'll stay with you." Rifat sat down on the bed in despair. He had no idea how to handle the situation. On one hand, he was angry, but on the other hand, he also felt unsure of himself. He felt like he had made a mistake in his decision. However, what troubled him the most was what his friends and relatives would say. They would surely make him look foolish in front of everyone. What would they say? "Rifat's wife? Beautiful? Ugh, what beauty!" Rifat considered keeping everything a secret and lying, so they would never know his wife's true appearance. But there was an uncomfortable feeling in his heart. He knew that by deceiving himself, he could never truly stay quiet. He would never find real happiness this way. Finally, Rifat sighed and looked at his wife. "I... I'll accept you. But right now, I don't know how to present you in front of my friends." His voice wavered slightly, but there was still conflict in his mind. His wife stayed silent for a moment before replying, "Rifat, I know you're worried, but you need to face the reality. I am here with you, no doubt about that. But if you have to see me differently, I will accept that too. But remember, what really matters is that our relationship is true in front of everyone." Rifat nodded, trying to shift his perspective a little. But deep down, one thought kept running through his mind—"How am I going to present my wife's real appearance to my friends now?"
