The betrayal by Ahithophel, a once-trusted advisor, further complicated the situation, forcing David to flee Jerusalem and seek divine intervention to counter the rebellion. David's eventual response, though delayed, involved counterintelligence efforts and the strategic use of loyal allies like Hushai to regain control.
To address these vulnerabilities, David sought to revolutionize secret military intelligence by establishing the Royal Military Intelligence Department School, a specialized institution dedicated to developing new strategies and preventing future threats.
