Descrizione In the sleepy suburban town of Oakridge, fourteen-year-old Mike Jensen lived an utterly average life - until the dusty attic of his family's home unveiled an ancient board game that would plunge him into a waking nightmare. Trapped in this endless game, Mike became consumed with not just finding his lost companion, but unraveling the dark mysteries that tightened their grip with every loop. A shadowy figure began appearing during certain cycles, seemingly observing and obstructing their efforts from the recesses of Mike's own attic. Scattered clues etched into the world around them hinted at hidden underground passages pulsing with secrets beneath Oakridge's streets. Paranoia festered as the group's trust eroded - could one of them be the true saboteur? Most harrowing were the time-bending consequences of their actions, where saving one life created new lethal threats, while failure ushered in grim fates worse than permanent deletion from existence itself. Mike's dogged determination took him down an ever-darkening path. He uncovered that ChrotoQuest was actually an ancient game used to test the boundless potential of the human spirit - overseen by transdimensional beings who could bend space, time, and reality on a whim. The only way to escape was to face a series of escalating trials designed to break his spirit and fracture his sanity. With each cycle, the tasks grew more devious, from navigating treacherous mazes that remade themselves with each step, to combating personal demons manifested into physical form. Mike was forced to grapple with his deepest insecurities about growing up, the harsh realities of peer pressure, and a creeping sense of abandonment from his fractured family. Only by mastering courage, loyalty, and self-acceptance could he overcome his greatest challenge - confronting the game's demented creator, an all-powerful being who could rewrite the universe on a whim. In a cosmic showdown that blurred all boundaries, Mike summoned every ounce of inner strength to out-maneuver his tormentor, reassembling the shattered shards of reality. In a blinding rush, the time loops shattered and the game ended - but not before Mike made an agonizing sacrifice to liberate his best friend's soul. As the dust settled, he awakened on his bedroom floor, the real world finally restored but his life forever changed.
