Part Of The Book:- On a sun-dappled afternoon, the tranquil river hummed with life. The gentle lapping of waves mingled with the lively chirping of birds, creating a peaceful symphony that echoed across the water. Henry, a jovial hippopotamus whose enormous size contrasted with his playful nature, floated lazily among the reeds. His round belly bobbed up and down like a giant buoy, his face breaking into a blissful grin as the cool water enveloped him.
"Ahhh," Henry sighed, his eyes half-closed in contentment. "There's nothing like a dip in the river to brighten the day."
Not far off, Clara, a clever crocodile with a sharp wit and even sharper eyes, glided through the water. Her sleek, scaly body moved with the grace of a predator, but today, mischief—not prey—was on her mind. As Henry emerged from the water with a mighty snort, spraying droplets in every direction, Clara's reptilian eyes sparkled with amusement.
"Well, well, if it isn't the king of the splash himself," Clara teased, her voice dry like the riverbank in the heat of summer. "I'm surprised you haven't drained half the river with that last belly flop."
Henry let out a booming laugh, the kind that shook his entire frame and sent ripples across the water. "Ah, Clara! Always so graceful, while I... well, I like to make an entrance! The water's got to know I'm here!"
"You're hard to miss, Henry," Clara quipped, flicking her tail playfully. "A hippo your size could make a splash in a puddle."
