When Douglas begins an affair with his stunning yet prim colleague, Nguyet, neither of them suspects how turbulent their liaison will become. Over the years, not only their intimacy and audacity grow, but also their susceptibility to temptation. On their journey of unbridled lust, they also meet others who are equally liable to sin, so that eventually even an orgy circle forms in their sleepy little town in Central Vietnam.
In this second volume of erotic stories, Nguyet and Douglas continue their affair. First, there's a threesome with one of her colleagues, who is in a similar position as Nguyet had been in, until recently: Unable to score a husband, Thuy is still a virgin at the tender age of 30 and pesters Nguyet, until she relents, and they agree on a rousing threesome at Thuy's home, over lunch.
As glorious as their first loin twirl was, Nguyet requests time with only Douglas in the following two sequels, during which she becomes bolder. Nguyet seduces him with lacy stockings for the very first time, and then their emotional energy leads them to even plan a foursome, during which they almost get caught, though.
The following month, Nguyet and Ben then invite two of his coworkers to lunch at her house, during which another ribald rumpus ensues. As much fun as everything has been, though, Nguyet's mother threatens to withdraw her support for her daughter's affair. Nonetheless, Nguyet meets Douglas again one final tryst before the summer to hatch plans how to continue – and to party hard once more, of course.
This second set of five chapters here is still only the beginning of a much longer series, which spans over more than six years, from August 2018 to 2024. Almost all stories are set in small-town Vietnam and are the result of three interlocking factors: the repressive 'official' sexual norms, the paradoxical nonchalance of many Southeast Asian women in sensual matters, and the fact that Douglas is pretty much the only foreigner in said location.
As varied as the episodes are, they all have one theme in common: Ultimately, they tell a captivating tale of liberation from confining moral norms. All chapters are meant to entertain, amuse, and – in the best case – stimulate, without slipping into crudity, however. All light-hearted stories are told in a very revealing, tongue-in-cheek manner and, in passing, also offer insights into Vietnamese culture. Without taboos, all novellas explore the sources and dynamic of erotic desire and lure the reader under the spell of an exotic world.
The author of this extensive series of erotic stories has been enjoying Southeast Asia for ten years now. After living in Germany and the U.S. for most of his life, Douglas ventured in the opposite direction in 2010: first, he taught at a community college in the South Seas for three years, before settling in Vietnam. Naturally, all novellas reflect his undying love for young Southeast Asian women.
