Descrizione
Following the passing of Adam and Eve, humanity enters a precarious era marked by discord and the rising influence of the supernatural. The divine realm, once accessible, becomes fractured; Lilith and her children are relegated to "Abraham's Bosom," while on Midgard, the fallen god Bor manipulates humanity through fear and ritualized sacrifice.
As patriarchal structures deepen, Lilith orchestrates a series of interventions, using Gail, the wife of Kudo, to champion the rights of women and restore a connection to the Creator, Theo.
This sets off a cosmic conflict. Bor, aligned with the ancient deceiver Vesper, corrupts other gods into demons, unleashing a plague of discord and sexual dysfunction upon Midgard.
In response to these horrors, the women of Solis ascend to the mountains to perform independent sacrifices, rebuking the spirits and restoring the sanctity of their marriages.
Theo, observing the escalating chaos, initiates a redemptive plan: Lilith is to be reincarnated as a mortal woman, Mariah, to give birth to a Messiah who will eventually defeat Vesper, liberate the divine children, and reconcile humanity with the Elysian Plain.
The narrative shifts to Midgard, where the infant Mariah becomes a focal point of terror and protection. Bor manipulates Kudo into a state of demonic possession, driving the King to attempt the murder of his own daughter.
Mariah is saved by divine intervention, sparking a journey of flight and sanctuary. Gail and her mother, Seraphina, flee to the land of the giants, Gath, where King Nakamura pledges to defend the child against the encroaching darkness.
The political and spiritual stakes intensify as Jace, a noble protector of the women, falls in a battle against mysterious, headless "undead" forces from the south.
The aftermath leaves Sethos in mourning and fractures the alliance between men and giants. Kudo, haunted by his past atrocities and the demonic influence he has finally renounced, attempts to reconcile with Gail. However, his repentance comes too late; Gail, having found strength and protection among the giants, permanently rejects him.
The story culminates in the aftermath of these shattered bonds. Kudo and his advisor, Kush, find themselves kidnapped by the treacherous forces of Lagash—servants to a new, dark power.
They manage a daring escape, rescuing Jace's vengeful sons and returning to Sethos battle-hardened and prepared for an inevitable conflict. As Mariah grows under the watchful eyes of the giants and the promise of her divine destiny, the human kingdoms of Sethos and Lagash prepare for a clash that will define the fate of a world caught between ancient grudges, demonic manipulation, and the hope of a promised redeemer.
