In Julian's Path: Book 6: The Bell Beyond the Veil, peace has settled over Hearthlight, but it is a fragile, listening kind of peace.

In this Unstory, Lumen discovers a crater of starlight dust and, buried within it, the First Bell, a bell that has never rung, older than every sanctuary. To touch it is to feel the weight of all the moments that might have been but never were.
As Lumen journeys deeper, they confront a mirror that refuses to reflect them and a presence that admits, "I was never forgotten, I was never known". The Veil is not a monster, it is the place where everything unspoken goes to wait.
When Lumen finally returns to Hearthlight, they are no longer only a keeper of memories, they become a bridge between silence and story. The First Bell is planted beneath the roots of the Bell Tree, and its presence gently bends time around the sanctuary. People arrive exactly when they are ready, not when the world demands it.
A new generation of learners gathers around Lumen, keepers who will tend memory in softer ways. When one of them, Elen, steps forward with different questions, the Veil whispers her name. Lumen does the hardest thing a guide can do, they let her go.
