Here's a small taste of what to expect (18+ readers only): Becca smiled at Calder and stroked his fur lightly as she enjoyed the sensation of being outdoors. “Let’s go to the river first” Becca decided, making her way into the forest, along the paths she’d started to recognize. Calder followed, his nose constantly on the prowl for predators. They got to the river, which was more of a large stream. The current was weak, and at its deepest the river barely reached five feet.
