He stopped responding to her letters, he stopped calling, he just cut her out of his life completely. It had destroyed her. It took her years to build herself back up and even then there was a piece of her heart that never healed. Sparks fly when Lexi finds out that not only does Cole live here, but her job at the orchard will leave her working side by side with him. The two girls catch up and Ellie invites her to a girl’s night out. Deciding that a night out might be exactly what she needs to forget about Cole, she agrees. The girls meet up that night and head out for dinner followed by one too many drinks. When Cole walks in to find Lexi dancing with a handsome stranger, it doesn’t take long for him to decide that she is too drunk to look out for herself. Things get heated when he tries to take her home, and Lexi finds herself being hauled out of the bar over his shoulder. Waking up with one hell of a hangover, Lexi finds herself in Cole’s bed, although she is fully clothed this time. When she gets downstairs and Cole is making her breakfast rather than waiting to roast her bottom, she knows something's up. Cole assures her that she is going to get the spanking of her life for her behavior, but first he wants to talk. Little does she know that what he would say next could change their lives forever.
