I dropped my gaze, gasping yet again when he pushed my face back up. My eyes widened when I saw him stepping closer, crowding me to the shelves. I bit back a squeal when he pulled my hand and placed it on his chest, pushing it under his shirt. "Ben..." I wanted to cringe at how breathless I sounded, but his skin was so warm under my hand, his strong heartbeat spreading heat all over my face. "Go on." I started, forgetting that I didn't want to meet his eyes and found myself locked under his gaze, his hand pressing mine to his naked chest, hard. "Go on and touch me," he whispered, grabbing me by the waist when he felt me jerk and shrink back. "I've seen the way you look at me, Ms. Carter. You want to, don't you?" "I — Ben..." "Don't lie," he murmured, his lips warm and wet under my jaw. I twisted, surprised and ashamed by the way my body reacted. Ben moved closer, his whole frame pressing against me now, strong and hot. My arms were trapped between our bodies and I was powerless when he started a moist trail of kisses down my neck. I arched, pleading with him. "Ben..." "Give me a kiss," he said, his tongue toying with the lobe of my ear.
